Award Winning Cool Climate Wines
Award Winning Cool Climate Wines
The climate and soils of the region combine to create ideal growing conditions for developing naturally elegant, intensely flavored and aromatic wines. Think fine natural acid structure and pristine fruit qualities.  The wines to look out for are Sparkling, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris/Grigio, Chardonnay and of course Pinot Noir. Premium Quality – Hard to Obtain
Premium Quality – Hard to Obtain
All Tasmanian wine produced is in the niche premium wine sector. Just 0.1% of wine is exported. A Wine Tour to Tasmania is about bragging rights, the ability to obtain premium, small batch wine with interesting stories. Most importantly, a Tasmanian Food & Wine Culinary Tour won’t take away from your winery business, only add to the connection your members feel towards your winery. Tasmania is reaping the bounty of its isolation, pristine environment and sheer physical beauty. Its produce and wondrous wines make it even more special. In fact, Tasmania is such an un-polluted state, it has the cleanest air in the world. Not only that, but the water in Tassie is so pure it has been shipped to Olympic athletes competing all around the globe. Photo Credit: Adam Gibson
The “Island-Life” factor
The “Island-Life” factor
Tasmania’s isolation makes it a very special place filled with intriguing characters. The cities are small, you won’t find skyscrapers and the people are incredibly gentle, friendly and welcoming. Here the pace of life is much slower and more peaceful than in other wine regions. The laid-back atmosphere and artisan style makes for a wonderful gourmet vacation allowing visitors to have opportunity to have authentic conversations with wine makers and artisans . Food, wine and travel are perfectly paired. This dream trip to Australia is the perfect way to solidify your relationship with top-tier members of your Wine Club.

Why Tasmania?

Tasmania’s untouched natural beauty and culinary delights are unparalleled in all Australia – maybe the world. Talented and passionate producers bring out innovative flavors of its regional seafood, cheeses, whiskeys and premium wines, ranking Tasmania among the 10 Best Wine Travel Destinations of 2019 by Wine Enthusiast. Wall Street Journal calls Tasmania “The Next Foodie Destination“.  The true depth of Tasmania’s appeal lies in its isolation and friendly laid-backed locals. A visit to this tiny island state is one not only filled with great food and wine, but one filled with new friends and incredible stories gathered in a truly authentic setting.

“Farm-to-table,” “artisanal” and “small-batch” have all become glorified marketing term these days, as producers and destinations vie to brand themselves as sustainable hand-crafters – but in Tasmania, such terms accurately depict the way things have always been done. –  USA Today, “Tasmania is an under-the-radar culinary paradise”!
