CREATING A CUSTOMIZED CANOPY

By installing the desired combination of springs on a post, the width and the height of the canopy can be customized, to minimize labor for tucking and adjust to weather conditions on an ongoing basis.

The springs are made of top grade galvanized or stainless steel. They are fully reusable and can be installed on any type of post; metal, wood or concrete. They are suitable for new installations as well as retrofitting existing vineyards.

With traditional fixed wire systems, harvest time means a great deal of manual tucking and manipulation of the canes. This is expensive from a labor standpoint, takes a great deal of time and can damage both fruit and canes.

With TechnoVineyard Canopy Optimization Springs, most of the canes grow between the support wires automatically and by simply clipping the springs together at the top prior to your fruit harvest, approximately 90% of the labor is reduced. It is far gentler on the canes and the fruit.
