The customer experience:

There’s no way to control an equivalent to caller ID for texting; if there was, every bad actor would be setting theirs as the IRS! If you’re texting customers that have never heard from you before, or haven’t already saved you as a contact, your texts will show up as from whatever phone number you’re sending them from. 

Ask your customers to save your contact information, but don’t stop there! Make it easy for them by sending your contact card. Then all they have to do is click on it and save. Your RedChirp contact card can include your logo, individual and/or business name, phone number(s), email address(es), and physical address(es).

Once your contact is saved, your existing text string and all new texts will be instantly recognizable by your logo and name.

Send a contact card during a conversation:

Having a great conversation with someone? Keep that momentum going, solidify your connection, and ask them to save your contact with one click.

Just open the (+) menu and select “Send your contact information…”

You’ll be able to select which contact card to send (if you happen to have more than one) as well as customize the default text to send along with it.

Automatically send a contact card to new text subscribers:

Every DTC winery should be proactively growing its text opt-in lists so you can reach more customers with your best offers through your best channel. There are many ways to do that, such as including calls to that action in all your emails, on social media, in your shipments, for giveaways, at events you attend, and in your tasting rooms. 

These calls to action should take customers to an online form that’s quick and easy to complete on any device, gathers all the necessary information, age-gates for you, and automatically flows right into RedChirp for your convenience and record keeping.

When these opt-in forms are completed, RedChirp automatically:

• creates or updates the contact
• can add them to one or more lists
• records their consent including date, time, name, phone number, and the full specimen of what they agreed to
• and can automatically send them a confirmation/welcome text

Creating your contact cards:

You can create one or multiple contact cards for each phone number in your RedChirp account, including those assigned to individuals and teams too! Each contact card can include your logo, individual and/or business name, phone number(s), email address(es), and physical address(es).

To create or edit your contact cards go to the Main Menu > Organization Settings > RedChirp Phone Numbers. Click the three-dot action menu next to any phone number you want to create or edit the contact card for and select “Edit contact cards…”
