Bill Cole, started the company to fulfill a small niche.  Chemco has its roots in developing and selling conveyor chain lubricants and cleaners to industry in Southern California.

Chemco Products,headquartered in Paramount, California has been developing, and supplying state-of-the-art specialty chemical products for 50 years.  The company offers a wide spectrum of products and systems to meet the requirements and processing needs of many industries.  These products and services are now distributed nationwide.  Key to Chemco's continuing success is the willingness and flexibility to be responsive to the customers' individual needs. 

Chemco Productsremains a privately owned family business.  Today, the company is led by the two co-owners, Elaine S. Cooper, C.E.O. and Janis C. Utz, President.  These two women are the daughters of the founder, Bill Cole.  They both worked with their father for close to 20 years in all aspects of the company from Sales and Service to Operations Management.  They are personally involved, along with their Senior Management Team, in the company's day-to-day operations. 

Chemco is certified as a Women's Business Enterprise (WBE) by the Women's Business Enterprise Council-West in partnership with WBENC.  The WBENC certification for women-owned businesses is one of the most widely recognized and respected certifications in the nation and is accepted by thousands ofcorporations within the country and a number of federal and government agencies.
