There is more to a winery than the tasting room. This is Beringer's new premium wine production facility in St. Helena. As architects we designed this too. The last photos are of the deliver of the first batch of grapes to the new facility.

Architectural Design of Silveraldo Vineyards, Yountville CA

A 40,000 case per year facility designed to reflect the architecture of the Napa Valley. The facility houses crushing, fermenting, pressing, wood aging, lab, bottling and case storage. Administrative offices, as well as a banquet room and kitchen, are an integral part of the facility. An entry drive, scale, entry gates, landscaping, water system, process and domestic waste systems are all part of the site development. Architectural Design of Antica Foss Valley, Napa County

A new 150,000 case per year Italian style estate winery. The facility is designed to highlight entry terraces and portals to 36,000 square feet of caves for aging in barrels. The facility includes crushing, pressing, fermenting, bottling and case goods areas. Future phasing includes administrative, meeting and banquet rooms with a kitchen. The site development includes entry gates, an entry road and process and domestic waste systems. Full architectural services, Use Permit assistance, sizing and programming of the facility, site suitability and feasibility study.

Architectural Design of Michel-Schlumberger Wine Estate, Healdsburg, CA

A 25,000 case per year California mission revival style winery with three guest suites, dining room, kitchen, and offices surrounding a large courtyard. The facility includes crushing, pressing, fermenting, bottling, lab and wood tank, and barrel storage areas. The site development for the facility includes a new water system, domestic and process waste systems, a road, and entry gates. Use Permit application and assistance; programming and sizing assistance; full architectural services.

Preparation of Master Plan, Use Permit assistance, and full architectural services for expansion of the existing facility. Expansion includes new grape receiving and pressing, fermenting and cave barrel aging; and new administrative offices.

Hall & Bartley Architecture/Planning was established in 1983 when Andy Hall and Scott Bartley purchased the assets of a multi-disciplined winery design firm and formed Hall & Bartley. The architectural firm has continued an emphasis on winery work with over 50 winery clients.
