Today, we are thrilled to introduce you to Dr. David Ferreira, R&D Project Leader in Oenology at #LallemandOenology. With a strong scientific background and a Ph.D. in #microbiology and #biotechnology, David has been a pivotal part of our oenology team for the past five years.
David's main focus revolves around R&D projects related to yeast nutrition and protection. His work plays a crucial role in elevating wine fermentation processes and enhancing wine quality. Working in close collaborations with leading scientists and research institutes, David embodies our continuous search for innovative solutions that can make a substantial impact in the cellar.
Notably, he led the R&D for the GO-FERM STEROL FLASH™ project, a product that brings forth years of research and innovation to make wine fermentation more efficient and user-friendly and is a revolution to yeast rehydration in tap water (15°C) with no acclimatisation steps.
