“Nature is pleased with simplicity", goes the quote by the great Sir Isaac Newton, and we're pleased to introduce a new update of the Plant mobile app, designed to simplify decision making.
"The new layout allows seeing climate data, irrigation summary, irrigation spans, plant status, plant graphs, and soil graphs, on one view", Says. Monitoring and Analysis products manager. Omer Sagee. "All the important data layers are placed together so growers can connect the dots, and understand what needs to be done".
The new plot page includes these major new features:
Integrated view of plant and soil.
A soil rootzone graph.
An Option to add soil moisture threshold and alert.
Free NDVI map tool.
Let's dive in:
Integrated view of plant and soil
Soil graphs - profile vs. rootzone view
Profile view - allows viewing data from individual sensors.
Soil moisture thresholds and alerts
On the root zone view, the user can now choose to add a moisture threshold:
It is displayed on the root zone graphs. It can be used to trigger alerts when the root zone moisture drops below it (will be released in the next version).
Plot NDVI maps for the entire season
Under the NDVI tab, NDVI imagery is available for all users:
The Sentinel satellite imagery is used, with a 10m pixel resolution, and a flyover above a location every 5 days. All valid images (images with heavy clouds are screened out) from the current growing season are available. The map coloring is adjusted to fit the range values of pixels on the plot, making in-field variability stand out.
Production optimization for farmers
Our mission is to help growers optimize farming production by connecting them to their plants and supplying an A-Z platform to help them close the loop from the crop to the drop. Monitor. Recommend. Automate - from one easy-to-use platform:
