Alex is a national compliance expert with great depth and breadth of experience advising industry members on all three tiers. Alex joined Compliance Service of America in 1999 after twenty years as a business attorney. He uses his deep understanding of transactions and broad knowledge of licensing across the country to help industry members understand the paths to market. Clients and colleagues also have relied on him for advice on gray areas, knotty problems, and complex situations, and have found his expertise and experience invaluable.

Now he is using that expertise as a senior editor of The Digest of Wine & Spirits Law. His legal background and extensive experience in licensing allows him to decipher and simplify the laws and regulations of the various states and jurisdictions. His understanding of the larger context for law changes gives him insights needed by Digest subscribers.
