German-Bulgarian Commerce Chamber for the Young Energy Scouts’ teams

Two of Herti’s engineers from the R&D department climbed the Vihren peak in the Pirin Mountain. Vihren, which is 2914 m high, is the third tallest peak on the Balkan Peninsula. This challenge was organized by the German-Bulgarian Commerce Chamber for the Young Energy Scouts’ teams, who won prizes in 2018, 2019 and 2020. The team of Herti won the Commitment prize in 2018 for its project for optimizing the compressed air system. Now Herti has its new compressed air stations with new compressors and a ring-shaped network for passing equal air pressure to every working point and a possibility t use the generated heat.

The group of scouts was lead by Atanas Skatov on their way to the Vihren peak. Atanas Skatov is the first vegan ever who climbed Everest and four 8 thousand meters high peaks for one season. The two young engineers of Herti climbed the peak for 5 hours and 45 minutes- a time close to the time needed by experienced mountaineers.
