• Lead times for generators and ancillary equipment remains extended (can be a whole year or more after ordering)
• Engineering firms have backlogs of work
• Processing time for both operation and AQMD permits is extended
• Installation labor / resources may also be backlogged
• Replacement parts are taking 30 to 60 days for delivery (in some cases, they're on indefinite backorder, which could be a sign that it's time to replace your generator)

Overall, we are advising customers that it may take two years from when you make your decision to when a new, stationary generator will be in place and operational. In the meantime, your organization may be best served by adding generator capacity through long-term rental.
