Their story began long before Copper Peak Logistics opened its doors.
A Legacy Born in Wine Country
Early in their careers, Stacey and Merilee worked together at Viansa Winery, gaining firsthand experience with the unique challenges and opportunities that wineries face every day. They learned quickly that success in the wine industry is about much more than the product itself.
Behind every bottle is a team of people managing inventory, coordinating shipments, supporting customers, and protecting a brand’s reputation. While much of that work happens behind the scenes, it plays a critical role in a winery’s success.
Those early lessons became the foundation for how they would later help build Copper Peak Logistics.
The Birth of Copper Peak Logistics
When the Lane family invited Stacey to help build Copper Peak Logistics from the ground up, she saw a rare opportunity, and a chance to bring Merilee along for the ride.
“My first goal was to grow the business enough to entice her to join me,” Stacey laughs.
Merilee didn’t hesitate.
“It’s been incredible to take everything we believed in and turn it into a company that feels like home,” she says. “Like a winemaker blending varietals, we’ve crafted this business from our shared passion for the industry and the people we serve.”
What began as a small operation has grown into one of the wine industry’s most trusted fulfillment and logistics providers. Throughout that growth we have always remained committed to maintaining the personalized service and strong partnerships that have defined CPL from the beginning.
