Creating a Top Workplace is about more than offering great benefits and vacation time. It’s about organizational health. Employees want to align with the company’s vision, be challenged by a high-performance culture, and feel that they are valued and that their voices are heard. There’s more to employee engagement than free lunches, happy hours, and take-your-dog-to-work day. The fact is, engagement can be challenging, and it requires leaders to commit to making it a priority.
Since receiving the award in 2021, CD & Power had its four year “Master Generator Technician” apprenticeship program approved by the state of California. Just one more example of the commitment the company makes to invest in its employees. “We think about our mission every day,” shared Collaro. “Powering Your Success Through Innovation, Education, and Inspiration. Mission Statement
Since 1972, Prospero Equipment Corporation has been a family owned and operated business providing high quality equipment and services to the beverage industry. As a leader in the industry, we strive to keep up with technology in a changing market and offer the best available solutions. We treat clients as friends and family and will continue to give our expertise and services to them for generations to come.
History
We started as a home winemaking equipment company that now provides solutions to wineries, distilleries, breweries, and specialized beverage groups with offices across North America.
Back in 1972, Prospero founder Tony Prospero began selling winery equipment sourced from Italy to home winemakers helping them continue their European lifestyle here in America.
With the expansion into commercial wine making equipment in the 1980’s, Prospero opened California offices to help service and distribute to west coast wineries. Products such as fillers, labelers, commercial presses, filters, tanks, and crusher destemmers were imported from Italy, the wine capital of the world.
In 2014, Prospero broadened its portfolio once again offering packaging and distillery equipment. With these additions, Prospero plans to open an office in Latin America. Representation down south will help lower costs for companies and people in the region.
Tony Prospero turned the leadership reigns to his children, Melissa and Danny who continue to operate under the esteemed Prospero name providing turnkey solutions that support the needs of the beverage industry.
