Bowyer assumes role of CEO and Trygve Mikkelsen becomes Executive Chairman

Stockton CA, Western Square Industries announced today that David Bowyer has been promoted as the new CEO of the company. An experienced business leader, David Bowyer will succeed company owner Trygve Mikkelsen, who will remain as the company’s Executive Chairman and continue his leading role with the board as well as engaging in company strategy and planning.

Bowyer has held executive roles including President and CEO for Tapp Label, Ingenious Packaging and was one of the founding partners for Vintage 99 Label. Since December 2018 he has supported Western Square as Director of Sales and special projects for the company’s long-term growth strategy.

“David is the ideal person to take the company to the next level,” said Trygve Mikkelsen who has owned Western Square for almost 30 years. Over the past 2 plus years David has had significant impact guiding and building the national sales team at Western Square, as well as implementing structure and improved value to our operations and marketing with his direction and guidance. The Mikkelsen family is delighted with the potential that lies ahead under his leadership.
