That is a question that each and every person who works in the winery should be able to answer, from the cellar workers to the office staff, from the salespeople to the tasting room staff, and anyone else who is in any way connected to the winery.
Ask your winery employees to provide you with lists of reasons (let’s say 10 to 20 reasons) why consumers should visit your winery. Also, make your own list.
The reasons can have everything or nothing to do with the wines. They may include the features that make your winery stand out or it may be:
Think about what makes your winery different or unique from others in the same area. Why does your winery stand out from the crowd of wineries around you? The most important of all the things I have mentioned is how guests are treated. Are they made to feel welcome, interesting, fun, and likable people? Are they complimented on their taste?
Tell me what is different about your winery, I would love to hear it. I can be reached at E@inshortmarketing.com.
