The only membrane press in the world that allows continuous pressing of grapes.

Winemakers who look to increase production volumes while maintaining the high quality of their wines know that it is a delicate dance. The revolutionary PCM Continuous Membrane Press by Siprem International combines the quality assurance of a gentle membrane press with the speed achieved by continuous operation. With its exclusive patent, it is the only membrane press in the world that allows the continuous pressing of grapes.

The PCM was designed so that each section has its own membrane, enabling high-quality must extraction, minimum oxygen pickup, and extremely low suspended solids (3% solids content vs. 15–20% for a continuous screw press). With models ranging from 10 tons/hour to 45 tons/hour, its largest model, the PCM 400, processes up to 45 tons/hour of fruit, equivalent to three 320 hL pneumatic presses.

Other advantages of the PCM include lower air and electricity use. Installation is relatively simple, with fewer pipes, exchange valves, and pomace evacuation augers. Its innovative cleaning system is automated and controlled by PLC, making it simple to clean. Perhaps most importantly given today’s labor shortages, it reduces a winery’s labor needs, as it only requires a single operator who can manage the entire line rather than having to oversee multiple traditional presses at once.
