Spotlight on Drinks America
- Ukraine’s Global Spirits continues to produce Khor Vodka, Krol Vodka and Odessa brandy in Ukraine from its state-of-the-art facilities. Make note of the bottling for Khor Ice, which changes to a frosted blue color when chilled to the optimal temperature of 41 °F.
- Okinawa Distillers Association will spotlight 10 individual distilleries of Awamori for their U.S. trade show debut. Made from long-grain indica rice from Thailand (rather than short-grain Japanese rice, used for sake and soju), Awamori is Japan’s oldest spirit, distilled for over 600 years.
- Premium and small batch producer of craft gin and vodka from Scandinavia, Nordic Gin House will launch a variety of craft gins at the show, including Copenhagan Classic Gin, Berslagens Organic Gin and Bivrost Artic Gin. Style note: bottling is inspired by traditional pharmacy bottles, a premium and distinct look that captures the simplicity and minimalist design heritage of Denmark.
- Using fruits from their Armenian gardens, Agassi Wine House will feature Gagolits Peach Vodka, Gagolits Plum Vodka and Gagolits Apricot Vodka.
- Suave Premium Tequila’s mission is to produce the most naturally sophisticated and organic tequila on the market through a blend of sustainable farming methods and socially responsible production practices. It is an organic, kosher and additive-free certified tequila brand.
Spotlight on Vinexpo America
- A series of in-booth tasting workshops by Touraine Vins du Val de Loire will spotlight different producers that showcase the versatility and large accessibility of Touraine AOP at Booth #102, one of the biggest appellations in France’s Loire Valley. - The unique qualities and varietals grown in the desert Southwest will be on display by New Mexico Wine. The oldest grape growing region in America, with nearly 400 years of grape growing and wine production, they will feature a dozen different wine producers ranging from their famous sparkling wines of Gruet to the many diverse grape styles they grow, predominately Italian, French and Spanish vinifera.
- Ventisquero Wine Estates was the first winery to receive the “Certified Sustainable Wine of Chile” seal. It is known for creating modern, avant-garde, high-quality wines while taking care of the environment at every stage of the production process.
- One of the few B Corp certified wineries from South America, VIA Pacifica Selections will be at the show.
- There are more than 100 South African Fairtrade labelled wines from many of the country’s top wine producers, reflecting that all entities involved in the production of the wine, from wine grape producer all the way until the product is in its final packaging, are certified and comply with Fairtrade's sustainability standards. At the show, Fairtrade will launch an interactive way to easily find out more about the product in front of you (think origin, purchase impact and virtual tasting with the wine maker) and will exhibit three Fairtrade certified wine producers: Du Toitskloof Wines, Merwida Vineyards and uniWines Vineyards.
- Wines of Illyria is a small, women owned import and distribution business of premium quality wines, small batch spirits and beer from Bosnia-Herzegovina. Make sure to explore the Sarajevsko Premium Lager and Illyrian Craft Brandies planned for display.
