The GERIN family has been implanted in the heart of the Côte-Rôtie vineyard, in the village of Ampuis, for 6 generations. This vineyard, located 30km south of Lyon, is the largest name in the north of the Rhône Valley and also one of the smallest, only expanding around 280Ha.
The king's spliff, "The Syrah" is sometimes mixed with the Viognier to bring more finesse to wines.
The two sons of the family, Michaël and Alexis, have challenges to face, including viticulture. This is how the decision to launch the conversion to Organic Agriculture is taken in 2020.
