What does LCA mean ?
LCA stands for "lifecycle assessment". It is a multi-criteria methodology used to quantify the environmental impacts associated with the life cycle of a good or service, from the extraction of the product’s raw material to its final disposal after consumption. It provides a full picture of the product's environmental performance.

These numbers were collected by Quantis, after a request of the Aluminium Closures Group. It was based on the PEF (Product Environmental Footprint) Methodology and applied relevant impact categories of the PEFCR (Product Environmental Footprint Category Rules) for wine.
